Tips for your newborn photo session!

I love newborn sessions!

You don’t need to worry about posing or knowing what to do—I’ll gently guide you every step of the way. All you need to do is show up, cuddle your baby, and be present with your family.

Keep it simple!

Neutral, comfortable clothing (think soft tones, minimal patterns) helps keep the focus on connection, not outfits. Barefoot, cozy, and natural always photographs beautifully.

There is no rush!

Newborn sessions aren’t about rushing. I always include extra time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing. We’ll move at your baby’s pace so everyone can stay relaxed. The most important thing for gorgeous photos!

Follow your baby’s lead.

Every baby is different, and that’s part of the magic. Whether your little one is sleepy or wide awake, we’ll capture beautiful, natural moments—tiny stretches, sweet yawns, and all the in-between cuddles.

Your home is the best location.

You don’t need a spotless house. I’ll guide you to the best light in your home—usually a bedroom, nursery, or living room—and we’ll create beautiful images right there.
